Pro tip: When flying on an Alaska Airlines operated Boeing 737 - 900 one window seat in rows 11 or 12 will NOT have a window. I’ve known about this for a while and avoided those rows altogether unless no other options are available. When I have had to to choose something in 11 or 12 I’ve still always rolled the dice and selected a window seat (75% chance I still get a window) and have come out on top every time I tried.

I’m really happy with the texture, but that’s pretty much it. To my credit, it does have a “freshness” that’s nice but maybe that’s just my way of trying to spin the fact that it’s sorta bland. Disappointed and slightly confused with how little the leek and pepper flavor came through, especially since I doubled how much I used compared to some recipes I looked at.

But it cost me $15/lb to make instead of $50/lb to buy so it’ll be well well worth it to keep working out the kinks over the next few tries.
